What we need from you
Four details cover most moves. Anything unusual — a piano, a third-floor walk-up, a delivery date that has to be exact — is worth mentioning when you send the form.
- Both addresses, or at least both ZIP codes.
- Your moving date, or the window you are working within.
- Home size: bedrooms, or square footage for a commercial space.
- Specialty items: pianos, safes, gun cabinets, exercise equipment.
How the number is built
Crew size and hours
Local moves are quoted hourly. A two-mover crew suits a studio or one-bedroom; three to four covers most family homes; five or six is for larger houses, tight timelines, or stairs at both ends.
Distance and access
Travel time is a known number, not a surprise line item. Access — parking, elevators, long carries — is confirmed before the date so the crew is carrying instead of solving problems on the clock.
Specialty handling
Pianos, safes and oversized equipment need the right crew and gear. We price them into the estimate rather than adding them on moving day.

How long a quote holds
Quotes hold for 30 days. Dates do not — Saturdays and month-ends book fastest, so tell us your date even if the rest is still moving.
